When these free melodies, energetic guitar riffs and light lyrics reach your eardrums you‘ll forget everything around you. And you‘ll understand, from the playful punk rock in the background and the rays of sun in your squinted eyes, that it‘s time to have some fun. The band Neverstore will be bringing sweet American-style pop punk to the festival, with its own Scandinavian brand of quality.
NOFX, Offspring, Green Day – these cult punk groups spring to mind when you hear Neverstore‘s work. The Swedes don‘t try to hide those who influenced them, and even without straying from their roots Neverstore punk has its own interesting sound and good quality.
Together for 9 years, Neverstore is one of the most popular groups in Scandinavia. Following the release of their debut album in 2007, Sevenhundred Sundays, the bunch swallowed up almost all Swedish music awards imaginable. Neverstore was also recognized as the best band in the country by MTV for two years running.
After their successful debut, the Swedish punk gods aren‘t sitting on their glory. Upon entertaining the volatile audiences of New York and playing together with the American stars Sum 41 in Japan, Neverstore will be in Norviliškės on June 12-14, and there‘ll be punk pouring out of the festival with no borders.
