Last year the X Club astonished Be2gether festival guests by jumping off trampolines with their bikes. This year the fearless youths plan to do the same, only this time on snowboards.
Forecasts predict that mid June will be even warmer this year than usual, so festival coordinators can‘t promise real snow. The snowboarders will be using a specially-constructed track covered with man made snow and a trampoline that will allow a real taste of extreme sports, followed by a soft landing onto a huge air bag.
“We’re always looking for new ideas, because we like to try out fresh concepts in the fields of extreme sports and entertainment that people haven’t grown tired of yet. I think this extreme event will get lots of attention from festival visitors, because there hasn’t been such an event in Lithuania, and extreme sports are always a big attraction to the eye and the body,” says Giedrius Skrebutėnas, one of the coordinators of the extreme zone.
